Members' and visitors' contact details are stored electronically by the Club only for the purpose of member­ship adminis­tration and to keep members and opt-in visitors informed of Club business. Infor­mation will not be disclosed to third parties outside Hertford and District Camera Club without the express permission of the member.

Cookies

This site does not currently use cookies or otherwise store any browsing information. (A cookie is a small string of information that a website may store on a user’s computer, typically to improve their browsing experience if information needs to be passed from page to page – such as on a shopping site – and also to analyse how visitors are using the site.) We don't track visitors in any way.

Computer Browsers

The site should work well with all modern operating systems and browsers (and on many older ones), and should adapt properly to all common screen sizes on computers, iPads and tablets. Where modern features are not supported by the browser the site should degrade gracefully. Please report any issues!

Smartphones

We rebuilt the site from scratch over the Summer of 2019 with the aim of making it compatible with all types and sizes of smart­phone, and fully compliant with the latest web standards. All areas are now "mobile-friendly". And in September 2019 – in response to Apple adding Dark Mode to the iPhone with iOS 13 – we intro­duced our own dark mode which follows the setting on the phone when the screen width is less than 480px. Again, please report any issues.
