Meetings are held at 8:00pm on Friday evenings at St John's Hall, Churchfields, Hertford SG13 8AF (near All Saints Church: approach from London Road) unless otherwise stated.

This presentation will look at the history of photographic portraiture from the Victorian beginnings through to our selfie culture of the 21st Century. It traces how portraits have evolved from pictorialism through to post modernism, and will delve into social documentary, fashion, celebrity and even portrait ‘notoriety’.

Paul presents his images from the last five years, including travel and street photo­graphy, coastal long exposures, and archi­tecture. Based in Dublin, he is an active member of the Dublin Camera Club and has twice been its President. He is a past President of the Irish Photographic Federation and is Director of the Eddie Chandler Gallery, a FIAP Exhibition Centre.
